The Preschool Project
Helping to provide education, nutrition and enrichment activities to the young learners of Mbalamanja.
Hand Up Malawi provides financial resources to fund the children's daily meals of porridge, prepared by the preschool teachers. Previously working as volunteers, we support the teachers to provide basic literacy and numeracy skills to the attending children, helping to prepare them for primary school. Our remit is also to provide funding for learning resources, and the maintenance and development of existing infrastructure in order to create a safe and enriching learning environment.

Achievements of 2021
Prior to registration, charity trustees raised £150 through raffle ticket sales to transform the toilet facilities at Mbalamanja preschool.
